Perspective

0 min read
I recently acquired Scott Robertson's somewhat vaguely titled book "How to Draw" which in reality is a book on perspective, something I've always considered Scott to be an authority on. So far it's been a great read. It's very well written, and so far the structure does a great job with easing you into things by starting at the very very most basic stuff. It always has many pages which can be scanned with a smart device and will link to videos explaining the pages contents in even greater detail or demonstrating principles and techniques. I wholly recommend it. Well worth the price. Amazon Link (Preview inside not very good)

Hey, how's it going, man.
You probably don't remember me, but I used to draw a bunch of stupid shit on this website and we sort of became friends for a while. Now, about two years later, I made this new account because I deleted my original one a long time ago. As soon as I signed in, I remembered you. So I guess I just wanted to pop in a see how you were doing.

Sure I remember you! How've you been?  Welcome back to DA I guess. It's really such a constant presence in the online art world you almost can't avoid being on it if only to promote yourself or network or whatever. I took a look at your tumblr just now. You've improved a great deal which is always great to see!

Cheers.
Thanks, I've been trying to find a good style for my ponies for a long time now, and I think I've got it. Current, aka the past couple weeks, I've been messing around with Human anatomy too. I don't want to be the guy who can only draw ponies and nothing else. I haven't got anywhere really so far, but I'm getting there. And thank you for asking, I've been doing good dude. I'm kind of just relearning the new interface for this place. Man, has it been a long time.
Happy Happy Birthday Turp!
thanks for the watch !
Totally worth it. Great work, really.
Thanks very much for the Watch! :salute:
